Lions 2014-2015 Officer Installation Dinner

The Tomball Lions Club 2014-2015 Officers were installed on 06/24/14 at Pecos Grilling Company. Pictured left-right are George Shackelford, John Phillips, Naomi Kleb, Jerome Teichmiller, Joe Sebesta, and Al Gerhardt. Officers Bob Ervin and Mary Pat Trenkle are not pictured.

The Tomball Lions Club 2014-2015 Officers were installed on 06/24/14 at Pecos Grilling Company. Pictured left-right George Shackelford - Secretary, John Phillips - Tail Twister, Naomi Kleb - Assistant Treasurer, Jerome Teichmiller - President, Joe Sebesta - Lion Tamer, Al Gerhardt - Treasure, Al Gerhardt, and not pictured Bob Ervin- Vice President and Mary Pat Trenkle - Membership. They serve for one year from 07/01/2014 - 06/30/2015.

The TBLC hosted Lions District Governor Eddie Risha and his wife. Dist. Governor Eddie Risha did the installation of all officers. He also installed new members Karen and Mike Halbach, and Reyna Sirias as members of the Tomball Lions Club.

Al Gerhardt - Treasurer for 2013-2014 received the 2013-2014 Lion of the Year award. In addition the Joe Mahan members inducted Daniel Zitterich - President and George Shackelford - Vice President into the Joe Mahan fellowship. Joe Mahan Lion member Larry Grotts presented the traditional blue vest to both of them.

Chairpersons for all of the Tomball Lions Club Charity Fund Raising Events received special recognition.

The Tomball Lions Club meets at noon at the restaurant on Highway 249 twice monthly. The club promotes pairing glasses with those who need help with their vision and sponsoring the participation of young physically-challenged campers for a week at the Lions' camp in Kerrville.
