Experience Mission mobilizes volunteers from diverse cultures and backgrounds to serve on short-term mission trips where volunteer teams help with practical projects to serve people in under-privileged communities. Megan will be entering her sophomore year of college and has been active in recent years with several anti-human trafficking groups. Her Cuba mission group spent its time in Matanzas (Cuba’s 2nd largest city) working with Christian missionaries who were helping local female victims of prostitution get psychologically and spiritually readjusted toward living a normal, productive life. Miss Gerhardt gave a very interesting and passionate presentation about her trip experience and the fellowship she enjoyed with her colleagues, her host family and local mission workers.
