Lion President Bubba Hardee introduced guest speaker Randy Parr, Tomball Fire Chief. Randy discussed the current state of the Tomball Fire Department. He also talked about the huge area that his department covers and the need to expand fire stations to the northeast section of the fire department boundaries. He also highlighted all of the accomplishments by his department.
Lion President Bubba Hardee also acknowledged Lion George Shackelford’s 35 years of service in Lionism. We are so proud of our own Lion for his many accomplishments in our club. He has served in so many capacities in our club. We also want to recognize George as he retires as City Manager of Tomball. He is now moving back to his hometown of Texarkana and will be moving his lion membership there also.
