How to avoid a scam

Guest speaker at the Tomball Lions Club 2nd Friday meeting on May 12th will be Mrs. Mikelyn Corkran, Senior Branch Manager, VP, at Sunflower Bank in Tomball. 

Mrs. Corkran's presentation topic will be, "How to Avoid a Scam".

In today's high-tech world, scams can come to us in many different forms including phone calls, text messages, emails, fake websites, etc.  Therefore it is important to be able to recognize the signs of a scam and finally you will learn how to avoid a scam.

The Tomball Lions Club meets from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at Martha's Mexican Restaurant & Grill on Alma Street in Tomball.  Guests are always welcome to join our meetings.
