Lion Joe Sykora had the honor of mentoring Andy Hampton in the Patriot Day Sporting Challenge, an event to guide the children of fallen first responders and military personnel to outdoor sporting events, such as, hunting, fishing and golf. Andy’s father Daniel Hampton, a firefighter, passed away September 18th, 2015. Both Joe and Andy had a great time at the event that was held on October 4th in Lake Fork, Texas. The Tomball Lions Club sponsored the travel expenses for Andy and Joe to make the drive from Tomball to Lake Fork.
