The Tomball Lions Club Annual Awards & Officer Installation Banquet was held on June 30, 2020. District Governor Tony Austin and his wife Cheryl and Past District Governor Eddie Risha and his wife Lion Diana were in attendance to do the Installation of Officers and Directors. Special Awards
- President Michael Halbach received an outstanding club leadership award for the fiscal year 2019-2020.
- President Michael Halbach presented the prestigious Presidential Appreciation Award to President Elect Joe Sykora Jr for his efforts as a new member to spread Lionism in the Tomball Community.
- Secretary Paul Hancock received the prestigious Melvin Jones Award and Lions Eye Bank Trustee District Governor Special Award;
- Larry Grotts received the prestigious Lion of Year Award for 2019-2020.
- Allen Eckhardt received the Tomball Lions Club coveted Joe Mahan “Blue Vest” which was named after the founder of our club in 1982, Judge Joe Mahan.
Texas Lions Camp Special Memory Bricks were presented for fallen lions:
- Lion Larry Grotts accepted the memory brick for his wife Lion Joan Phillips-Grotts
- The family of Terry Kitchens accepted the memory brick for Lion Terry Kitchens.
