Dear Al: On behalf of Shared Loads, I want to tell you how much we appreciate the $500 donation from the Tomball Lions Club, which funded our July Laundry Love event at the A-1 Washateria. Monthly Laundry Love events provide laundry for a variety of low-income citizens of Tomball and surrounding communities, many of whom you saw this past Thursday: retirees on fixed incomes, a substitute teacher with no summer income, disabled veterans, homeless, and others. Every month, beneficiaries tell us how much they appreciate even the modest relief of free loads of laundry, which is much more expensive for them than for those of us who can do it in our homes. There were 41 families represented at this month’s event, and your generosity has touched the lives of each of them.

With Gratitude, Erin S. Percell President & Treasurer, Shared Load
