From President Joe Sykora Jr. It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the Passing of Lion Joe Sebesta. Lion Joe had been a part of Lions Club International since October of 1989. Marcus Glen “Joe” Sebesta, Sr. Loving Husband, Father and Brother, passed away in his hometown of Tomball, Texas on March 19, 2022. Joe was born on May 25, 1943 to John Joe Sebesta and O’tillie Hentschel. Joe graduated from Tomball School in 1961 and Massey Business School with a degree in Business in 1962. He was a beloved husband of 58 years marrying his high school sweetheart, Barbara Roth on January 3, 1964.
Joe is survived by his wife Barbara, sister, Barbara Beard (Gerald), brother-in-law, Woody Roth (Suzie), sister-in-law, Faye Liffick (Shawn Grimm) and Jan Nichols, along with numerous nieces and nephews.  He joins in heaven his parents, son Marcus Glen Sebesta Jr, mother-in-law Billie Patzke and brother-in-law Marvin Roth.
 
Lion Joe in his day was the King of the pit. Lion Ronald Luedke and Lion David Mc Clinton took over as Pit Leaders when Joe was no longer able to due to his health. Joe always fussed at Lion Ronald and Lion David for cutting all the fat off the briskets. Joe would always say, “That's the best part”.
