Marketing and Tourism for the City of Tomball

Lion Mike Halbach introduced Chrislord Templonuevo, the City of Tomball's Director of Marketing and Tourism.

Highlights of his presentation include:
  1. Thanked the club for the donation Holiday Heroes
  2. One function is to host events to build Tomball awareness, including the German Festival
  3. Uses social media to communicate as well as the Tomball radio station, FM 95.3 (5-mile radius from the fire station)
  4. Community Center: sponsors monthly bus trips, schedule of activities on their website
  5. Website is Tomballtx.gov 
  6. Chrislord suggested setting a tent up at Tomball events to attract new members.  Upcoming events include March 22 Choo-Choo Chow Down, and April 26 Rails and Tails Mudbug Festival.
 
Mr. Templonuevo spent 17 seasons in the sports and entertainment industry with the Houston Rockets and Toyota Center before bringing his expertise to the City of Tomball in August 2022 as the Director of Marketing and Tourism. With a passion for community engagement, marketing, and event management, he now leads efforts to showcase Tomball's unique charm, driving tourism and economic growth through strategic marketing and dynamic public events.
