The Tomball Lions Club would like to thank TRHF for the grant of $25,000 to help families in the greater Tomball Community.

CEO Jeffery Klein joined the Tomball Regional Health Foundation in September 2022 and brought a new vision to lead the organization.  He presented a historical look at the start of the Foundation in 2011. The Tomball Hospital Authority created the Tomball Regional Health Foundation (TRHF) to administer the proceeds from the sale of the Tomball Hospital Authority for charitable purposes in the surrounding communities.

The Tomball Regional Health Foundation continues to be a vital part of the community, supporting health and wellness initiatives on behalf of its residents and seeking to meet the broader aspects of health needs in the community. This was a very interesting look into the past.

He talked about the grants that are available to groups that meet the grant criteria on an annual basis. The letter of interest must be submitted in June of each year. The grants that have been approved are then completed in August of each year. In December the grants that are finished and approved are awarded. The grants are available on January first of each year. The groups approved for their grant have grown over the last couple of years. The Tomball Lions Club Charities use the grant to provide funding for Tomball community members in need of hearing aids or corrective eyewear.

Jeffery Klein’s look into the future includes a new building on Medical Parkway. The new building will include large meeting rooms, a small lake with a walk path around it with many amenities.
