The Tomball Lions Club did a Free Vision screening for kids 6 months and up at the Tomball Walmart Vision Center located at 27650 Tomball Parkway, Tomball, Texas. The Club members President Bubba Hardee and PDG Danny Zee, certified to do vision screening, were there from 11AM - 3PM on Saturday 7/29/2017. They do these screenings as a community service project. Lions & guests pictured from left to right are: Tomball Lions Club PDG Danny Zee and PDG Chuck Martin from Cy-Fair Lions Club. Lion Bubba Hardee provided the Web Site and FB page with the photo.

People brought out there Kids, Grandkids / Nieces and nephews and took advantage of this service. PDG Chuck Martin from Cy-Fair Lions Club came and gave some input for our screening process. PDG Danny Zee and President Bubba Hardee felt good about Chucks blessing as his club has completed about 5,000 screens in the last two years. That is a huge goal for the Tomball Lions Club to shoot for. The total screens that were performed were 31. They had 30 pass and 1 referral. The high light of the screening day was screening of a 3 year old autistic boy. He completed and passed the screening. His mother with tears in her eyes thanked us so much because even his Doctor had a hard time doing his exam and she was so relieved that his eyes were OK. President Hardee gave a special thank you to the Staff at the Walmart Vision Center for all their help in making the screening a huge success with special thanks to Jillian Jenkins for her getting this event scheduled and the use of her office.
