He will provide an update with respect to residential, commercial and mobility growth within the greater Tomball community. As always, guests are welcome to attend the meeting at Martha's Mexican Restaurant & Grill on Alma Street in Tomball from Noon to 1:00 PM.

Guest speaker at the Tomball Lions Club meeting on Friday, November 22, will be Tomball Police Chief Jeffrey Bert. Chief Bert will discuss policing in the Tomball Community 2024. The meeting will be held at Martha's Mexican Restaurant on Alma Street in Tomball from 11:30 am to 1:00 PM and as usual, visitors are welcome to attend. Normal business will be conducted following a presentation by our speaker.

Guest Speaker at our December 13th meeting at Fire Station #1 will be Marilyn Kinyo, Director of Marketing & Communications with Camp Hope (PTSD Foundation of America). She and two Camp Hope Veterans will discuss how Camp Hope provides an environment where combat veterans with PTSD find the tools they need to live healthy lives. We will be presenting our 2024-2025 donation to Camp Hope in the amount of $1,000. |

Workings of the Justice of the Peace Courts in Harris County Precinct 4

Guest Speaker at the Tomball Lions Club meeting on Friday January 24th will be Judge Laryssa Korduba. Judge Korduba is the first female Justice of the Peace in Precinct 4, serving as Justice of the Peace Precinct 4, Place 2. She was elected to this position in November of 2014. Judge Laryssa received her law degree from the University of Houston in 2003 as a Mixon Scholarship Recipient. Judge Korduba then started her law practice and grew it to an industry-leading statewide firm, after years of working in property management. She is married to her best friend of 14 years, Matt, and they have 4 beautiful children together. Since taking the bench as Justice of the Peace, Judge Laryssa has made countless strides to improve customer service, increase and pilot new technology programs, and guarantee efficiency in her courtroom. Judge Korduba will give an informational presentation on the workings of the Justice of the Peace Courts in Harris County's Pct. 4 The Tomball Lions Club meets on the 4th Friday of the month from Noon to 1PM at Martha's Mexican Restaurant & Grill, 1025 Alma Street in Tomball. Guest Speaker at the Tomball Lions Club meeting on Friday, February 28th, will be Chrislord Templonuevo, Director of Marketing and Tourism for the City of Tomball. Mr. Templonuevo spent 17 seasons in the sports and entertainment industry with the Houston Rockets and Toyota Center before bringing his expertise to the City of Tomball in August 2022 as the Director of Marketing and Tourism. With a passion for community engagement, marketing, and event management, he now leads efforts to showcase Tomball's unique charm, driving tourism and economic growth through strategic marketing and dynamic public events. The Tomball Lions Club meets on the 4th Friday of the month from Noon to 1PM at Martha's Mexican Restaurant & Grill, 1025 Alma Street in Tomball. Visitors are always welcome to join our meetings.

Guest Speaker at the Tomball Lions Club meeting on Friday, March 28th, will be Jeffrey Klein, CEO of the Tomball Regional Health Foundation. Jeffrey Klein is the Chief Executive Officer of the Tomball Regional Health Foundation. He is a graduate of Tomball High School, and Texas A&M University where he received his B.B.A. in Management with honors. In addition to his 30 years in the retail and wholesale food business, Jeffrey has been active in his community in a variety of ways including serving as a founding board member and secretary of the Tomball Education Foundation and President of the Tomball Rotary Club. He joined the Health Foundation in September 2022 and brings a vision to lead the organization into the second decade serving the health and wellness needs of area communities where his family has called home for six generations. He is a graduate of Leadership North Houston and recently completed his certificate in Non-Profit Leadership from the Bush School of Government at Texas A&M. In January he was awarded the Chairman’s Award from the Magnolia Chamber for outstanding service to the citizens of southwest Montgomery County. Jeffrey and his wife, Traci, have three children and attend Trinity Klein Lutheran Church where he has served in a variety of leadership capacities. The Tomball Lions Club meets on the 4th Friday of the month from Noon to 1PM at Martha's Mexican Restaurant & Grill, 1025 Alma Street in Tomball. Visitors are always welcome to join our meetings. |
