Mayor Lori Klein Quinn provided an update on State of the City including current statistics on residential, commercial and industrial growth in Tomball. She also discussed the general growth projections going forward. City Manager David Esquivel discussed the many city items in a slide presentation. He spoke about the growth of the city which is required while addressing concerns over too much growth.
The City Manager mentioned several of the recent projects including the completed Macy's distribution center and a new water tower by Macys. Also the future Costco located at State Hwy 99 and SH 249 to be completed in the fall of 2025.
 
He discussed upgrades at both Juergens and Louis's playground where all children can play including playground equipment for special needs children.
 
He also discussed the budget for all projects and the improvements to downtown Tomball keeping the “The Old Town Feeling”.

He discussed retaining the history of Tomball by having all photos digitized for the future.
