"ABOUT US"

The Tomball Lions Club is a civic organization that was formed in April of 1982 by Tomball Judge Joe Mahan to help meet the needs of children in our school district on a case by case basis who were in need of glasses and could not afford them.  The Tomball Lions Club also seeks special needs candidates to attend The Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville.  The Texas Lions Camp allows children with disabilities to take part in summer camp activities surrounded by other children with special needs. The Tomball Lions Club meets the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month at Pecos Grilling Company on FM 249 business in Tomball starting at noon. If you are interested in visiting the organization, please call 713-410-6542 or email info@tomballlionsclub.org for additional information.

In emergency situations TEAM will help clients with food, clothing, rent, utilities, medical treatment prescriptions, eyeglasses, etc., on a limited basis. TOMAGWA FREE HEALTH CLINIC: http://www.tomagwa.org/. The acronym TOMAGWA means “Tomball, Magnolia, & Waller.” Over 18 years ago, TOMAGWA HealthCare Ministries was founded from the concern of local residents who witnessed a man die in Magnolia from infection and a little girl in Tomball who lost her hearing due to recurring ear infections. These people did not seek medical treatment due to lack of medical insurance and inadequate finances to pay for services.
